Hummer Clothing, a term which is probably meaningless to and ordinary consumer. At some stage I didn’t know it either. That was until I started searching for a durable outdoor gear and when I discovered the brand. It got me hooked straight away and I thought that this is something I would need to look into.

As an outdoor fanatic I have researched and tried many different brands and I’ve discovered that simple and tested solutions work out the best. And as a result of that I’ve stocked up on tested army gear. I had different kinds of boots, jackets, and ponchos and so on. The only problem with that was that it could be used only in action and rough terrain. Of course it could be worn in everyday situation, but I would personally feel silly going to grocery store in full assault uniform, boots and camouflaged jacket. And then I stumbled across Hummer Clothing. Clothing branded with the name of ultimate off road machine, was something new, intriguing and special, and I though it would be worth checking out. I was right.

The designer took example from Hummer itself and used well tested military technology and turned it into something that can be used in everyday life. Just like the SUV which can be used to get shopping done, but will get you through roughest terrain, the clothing will keep you worm and protected in the forest, but can be worn in the city as well. It is a perfect example of universalism and I can assure you that it can be used whenever needed.

As an example I will share with you this real life situation. With a group of friends we went for a day long trip into the mountains (I had my Hummer jacket with me). The slope was very steep at the beginning and we all got very warm and sweaty. I’ve decided to take of my jacket and continue in a t-shirt. It wasn’t very thick or heavy and I’ve fitted it into my backpack without greater problems. We continued climbing for next few hours until we finally reached the summit, tired but very happy with our accomplishment.

The trail now continued on much higher altitude and as the result of that the temperature dropped. That was no problem, because we were prepared for that. We’ve just put on our jackets and continued walking. Suddenly the temperature dropped down to zero and it started snowing. Within minutes we were in the middle of the blizzard. I’ve put on my hood and continued walking, but the rest of my friends weren’t so lucky. Their clothing couldn’t resist the temperature change of that scale and they started to cool down at a very fast pace. The freezing wind which was blowing form every possible direction didn’t help and we had to turn back.

On the next day they were al sneezing and showing the symptoms of flu and I was completely fine. As you can see from this short example, you can never be sure what awaits you on the trail and it is better to be ready for anything, even for snow in summer. With hummer clothing you will be ready and prepared for any challenges nature readies for you and you will overcome them.

So you finally bought that yoga DVD that you have been wanting. Until you start your exercises; however, you need to have an understanding of how to dress properly for the at-home yoga classes. 1. Wear comfortable clothing: It is necessary to wear comfortable clothing while practicing yoga. Forget about doing your exercises in jeans or tight pants that will not allow you to move. Make sure that you use leggings, tights or even shorts. Just ensure that the clothing is not too baggy. Loose clothing clothing could get in the way or may irritate you as you exercise. You might want to try a few moves first to check that the clothing is not restrictive before you settle down to a full session of your yoga DVD.

2. Shoes or bare feet: It is always better to perform traditional yoga barefoot. Due to the fact that you will be doing it alone, in your own home, you don’t have to worry about anyone seeing your feet. If you still feel uncomfortable, you can wear yoga socks.

3. Remove jewellery: Never wear dangly jewelry when doing yoga exercises. They can get in the way and distract you from the essence of the yoga exercises. Remove all jewellery until you finish with your lessons.

4. Tie back long hair: If you have long hair it is essential that you tie up your long hair. Long hair will get in the way, and you may even hurt yourself. It can get in your eyes, get stuck under your body or you could even accidentally pull it with some of the movements. The easiest way to avoid this is to put your hair into a braid or a bun.

5. Glasses or contact lenses: Depending on your personal preference you may prefer either option. Many people who wear contact lenses prefer to wear them for exercising. If you are wearing glasses you may find that they are loose when it comes to particular poses or even uncomfortable.

6. Wear natural fibres: Yoga is about being as natural as possible. If you can afford it, try to find organic or natural materials. These are not only better for you but also superb for the environment. Natural materials actually help your body to breathe easier. They do not have any harmful low grade toxins in them. With man-made materials, they can release low-grade fumes which can be absorbed by the skin.

7. Perfume: Do not wear too much perfume before a yoga session. It can be too stifling and make you lose concentration.

In this day and age, most of us want to become healthier, happier, fitter, and more spiritual. After all, we are now in the 21st century. People think that it’s all right to try to be Buddha, but they do not want to look like him. This is the reason why many people including myself want to learn yoga while wearing cute yoga clothes.

In my opinion, it’s impossible to be spiritual without being fashionable at the same time. This may sound like a contradiction, but I don’t think that it’s a contradiction at all. After all, your interactions with other people will show the level of spiritual knowledge that you possess. You will not be able to share your spiritual experiences as readily if you do not wear clothing that flatters you and makes you seem accessible and appealing.

There are also no better places for cruising for young, attractive, and sensitive men or women than yoga classes. I always make sure that my inner state of bliss finds its counterpart in the experience of anyone who is looking at me when I wear my yoga outfit. To put it in simple words, I look hot in my yoga clothes.

You can usually find good yoga clothes in a specialty store but almost anything used for sports can be yoga clothes. It makes sense to stay as close to popular styles but there’s still room to experiment. For example, you can use warm-up pants as yoga pants. The high tech, synthetic shirt that you use for camping can also work for yoga. You will have no trouble at all making interesting and innovative outfits as long as you have a keen eye for fashion and a practical sense of what is required for yoga.

Keep in mind that there is no need to sacrifice comfort for fashion, when you are selecting yoga clothes. Clothes that appear to be uncomfortable will also look unfashionable. Good yoga clothes can do it all because they can flatter your figure, give you plenty of room to move around, and comfort you with their softness and malleability.
