Is Caffeine Beneficial?

No comments yet - CommentLuv enabled! Urban Fashion and Urban Culture

Everywhere you turn, consumers are quitting caffeine. While there are a few who are honestly allergic to it, most of the people do it because of peer pressure. There are articles just about everywhere about how bad caffeine is for you. “Time to give up caffeine” is what newly expectant women hear, usually right after they’ve announced their pregnancy. The first instruction given to a person who wants to “get healthy” is to give up caffeine. The very first indicator that an individual wants to get healthier is almost always the relinquishing of caffeine. The real truth is that there are some benefits associated with caffeine too. Seriously! Here are some of the more essential benefits associated with caffeine.

Harvard University not long ago published a study that confirmed adult men who consumed four or more cups of coffee a day were at a much lower risk of developing Parkinson’s disease. They believe that this happens since caffeine allows the dopamine molecules in the brain stay active. It could also be that because caffeine prevents adenosine receptors, the brain may perhaps be not as likely to develop amyloid-beta. This is the exact brain plaque that is often associated with Alzheimer’s disease. There aren’t studies that can say definitively whether or not caffeine can make you cleverer (that we can find anyway) but it is nice to know that it could be able to reduce your risk of contracting Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s diseases.

There is of research that proves that caffeine raises your body’s blood pressure. This shows that increased caffeine consumption could put you at higher risk for heart disease and failure. There are scientific studies, though, that say the opposite holds true. Brooklyn College commissioned a study that confirmed men who absorbed a few cups of coffee each day would be less likely to develop heart issues. The basic thought is that, if you usually are not already affected by hypertension, caffeine won’t make the problem worse. If you do have cardiovascular disease, however, you’ll want to stay away from the caffeine.

The guests come to eat, drink and be merry and the bride’s parents always put a great deal of work into the organization of the wedding reception. The wedding cake is the focal point of the top table and the whole function in general. The wedding cake has traditional significance and it is often considered bad luck not to have a slice of the wedding cake.

There are precise rules for the timing of the cutting of the wedding cake that have become part of tradition. For example, if the wedding reception takes place at lunch or dinner, it is traditional to cut the wedding cake just before the dessert is presented.

In what’s been a great year for TV, what have been the best Television shows of 2010? It might be tough to go past Nutty Men. The show is focused on Don Draper and the comings and goings of a Big Apple ad agency in the 1960s. The show has become a hit and is among the most observed programs on TV.

The past season was an exceedingly turbulent one. Don Draper was handling his past and the result of his divorce. Meanwhile the new firm was making an attempt to find its feet. It had been a period of expansion for both Peggy and Pete while Roger Sterling failed to know whether he was coming and going.

Then there was Breaking Bad. This show is about a person in New Mexico who is trying to deal with his health and marriage problems while making meth. His brother in law is a DEA agent and that only complicates things. It was gripping television and both of the male leads walked away with very well deserved Emmy Awards.
