love Love and InternetWith the Internet playing a larger and larger role in our lives, it’s not surprising that it has become an electronic matchmaker. We don’t send anymore roses but electronic flowers, the old and fragrant letters now are simple emails. But is it really so bad? Not at all! Seems that Internet helped many singles to find the real love! Why?

Love and Internet

There are many websites that help singles to find the real love, like Heart Detectives. Very intriguing name, red website, sign up is free and easy; you get access to thousands of local singles.

Another interesting website is eHarmony. It’s free to receive and review matches. You just register and take the questionnaire to receive the matches.

Last one I’ll talk about is Lovebank.com. Unlike other online dating services it features subscribing members only. The membership guarantees unlimited communication with all other members for a very reasonable price, only $39.95 for a full 12 months subscription.

But why these services are so popular? Why is so good to find love through the Net? I wait your replies and stories to include in the article. Just write your story in the Comments section, and if good enough, I’ll feature it in this article.

I just did a blog on dating sites myself! I agree that internet dating is becoming a very common thing. I think the greatest advantage is that the internet greatly widens people options when it comes to dating. You are able to meet lots of people and hopefully find someone who you’re really compatible with.

Maybe they are have success however I think I’m more into the old stuff. Anyway when I find love I’ll knew that I did without any dating.

I think what’s amazing about the internet is that it connects you with people that you would NEVER meet in real life. We get so caught up in our own circles that we don’t always open the door to love.

Yeah, definitely a bigger fan of the real life meetup. I think dating has changed a lot in the face of online technology, but there are just no good ways to replicate the face-to-face situation. We all deserve a couple of bad dates; they’re funny.

Good luck in your quest – there are some very fine people that use these services, just be aware – not everyone is who they portray. I still prefer the old fashioned ways of courtship, roses, candlelight and music -

My husband and I met through a service like that. Been together almost 7 years, married for 4. Whatever brings people together I guess. *shrug*

I still believed that there is nothing better than sending real roses…, it’s like having a conversation face to face not computer to computer…
